Being a brand new mommy is the most amazing experience but completely exhausting. What’s sleep!?!? I really miss it… Liam is up every 2-3 hours at night. Some days I look like a zombie, straight out from the Walking Dead, okay maybe not that horrifying but still…. Who likes being tired all the time?!? So, let’s talk about some of my favorite things to do when I need a little extra pep in my step.
Vitamin B-12 Shots

It is essential for producing and storing energy, so making sure you have enough magnesium is crucial. Magnesium is in almonds, cashews, hazelnuts and whole grains. Cut out Dairy and Sugar in your Morning Coffee
Stop putting sugar & dairy in your coffee… Yes, I know, your Starbucks drink will never be the same, but don’t kill the messenger… & what’s the point if it is going to make you tired?!? Everyone knows sugar will make you crash but they are shocked when they find out that dairy will too. Not only is it hard for your body to digest dairy, but it also has tryptophan (which is the stuff in Turkey that makes you tired.) So ditch the dairy and sugar, you will feel better! I started substituting almond milk in my coffee & I’m so glad I did. Or you can be a B.A. & go black. Did I mention Starbucks is now serving Cold Brew coffee?!?! It’s like regular coffee on steroids.
To start your morning off right with a healthy boost of energy, try my Morning Detox.
