I cannot tell you how excited I am to be starting this blog, my hopes for this exciting adventure is to capture my love for fashion in photos and provide tips for all those beauty trends out there (I’ve pretty much tried them all) but MOST OF ALL to help anyone who is struggling with learning how to be healthy and feel GREAT about themselves. “Dieting,” does not work. Starving yourself takes a physical and emotional toll and we ALL know that self-discipline can only work for so long until you’ve had too many beers and find yourself face first eating an entire pizza….. oops was that a confession?
Growing up in the midwest, pizza, pop, (that’s soda for all you non mid-westerners) burgers and good ole’ home cooking was a regular diet. It didn’t hit me until I was 22 years old and the freshman 15 turned into 30 pounds. I was tired all the time, had constant headaches and brain fog was an everyday occurrence. I knew I wasn’t taking care of myself and things needed to change. After taking a Botany class in college, I was fascinated with how AHHHHMAZING plants really are! I didn’t want to try all those fad diets that never worked for my friends. I researched and came up with my own meal plans. I started out slowly adjusting my meals on a week-by-week basis because let’s face it, convenience is what we all need with our crazy busy lives.
In less than two months, I lost all the 30 pounds I gained, my skin had never been so clear, the brain fog and headaches were gone and I was back to looking great in a bikini! WOO HOO!! & Just sayyyinnn… summer is right around the corner ladies. I have helped women close to me with all different types of issues
1. Compromised immunity
2. Gaining weight or unable to lose it
3. hair and skin problems
4. premature aging
6. digestive issues
Point Blank…. if you aren’t feeling 100%, I promise you that it is not normal!
After seeing my approach work so well for EVERYONE that has followed it (yes I said every single person that’s done it). I decided to dive head first and help anyone who is willing to subscribe to my blog, okaaayyy you don’t have to but I would reaaalllly love it if you did :). My game plan is to slowly and conveniently offer you a guideline to a healthy LIFESTYLE, (a.k.a. not diet – Diets=BAD) with a little fashion and positive vibes too!
