21-Day Challenge: Kiss that Stubborn Fat Goodbye
I love trying new ways to detox and cleanse my body. However, my daily morning detox has been my go-to for the last 5 years. This morning routine is super easy and has remained one of my Favorites for losing and maintaining weight loss as well as getting a boost of energy without having to chug a cup of coffee (no judgement here, I love to do that too.)
Benefits are amazing: this drink is cleansing, supports your immunity, full of Vitamin C, provides alertness, speeds the metabolism, & ultimately the perfect way to start your day.
What to do:
Squeeze half a lemon into a 16oz glass of water
Add 3-5 leaves of fresh mint
Sprinkle cayenne pepper to taste and stir
Take Probiotic capsule (my probiotic recommendation here)
*Do this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach*
Hold off drinking any caffeine for 1-2 hours because you will have a natural boost of energy!
Probiotics are a hidden gem, I wonder WHYYY?!?! WHY does no one talk about them?!? My naturopathic doctor in AZ, Dr. Evan, (if your in AZ, I HIGHLY suggest seeing him) told me the absolute best thing you can do for your health is take probiotics because your immunity is in your gut. Crazy right?!?
Everyone thinks probiotics are just for people that have digestive issues but quite the contrary. Probiotics cleanse your body and get rid of the processed junk your body can’t break down. It allows your body to balance itself which in return has some AWESOME benefits: more energy, reduces cravings, helps with hair growth, treats acne, cleanses your liver, supports your immune system and prevents premature aging. NEED I SAY MORE?!!?
Everyday, I have my daily morning detox and take a probiotic when I am making myself breakfast. While I’m eating my breakfast, I write the Top 3 things I need to get done for the day. My morning routine is so relaxing and it really starts my day off with the right tone & a great boost of energy. I’m all about Positive vibes.
